Short Bio

CARIE LAUREN is an up and coming Inspirational Singer, Songwriter and Motivational Speaker and a woman on a mission (actually many missions.) Anyone who knows Carie will tell you they remember her for her passion and excitement for life and her love of people. She has a unique ability to empathize and feel what others are dealing with. This one trait alone gives her an ability as a performer and writer to give an audience a creation that feels as if it was created just for them. Her southern charm is evident in her music which feels as simple and warm and close to home as a fireplace and as sophisticated as the Cajun food from where she came. Carie is trained in classical and commercial performance. She has a three and a half octave range giving her versatility in performing many different roles. She loves performing many genres of music including musical theater, jazz, pop and country. Her singer/songwriting style is what she refers to as Ragin’ Cajun. Combining her ethereal warm angelic voice with world beats spiced up with Jazz or Dixieland flavor. Her latest single has been said to have as much a Reggae feel as it does a French cafe’ in New Orleans.

Carie loves teaching voice and working with people young people at schools and in her speaking and coaching business. It is a passion of hers to use her music to help people overcome difficulties and use their passion to fuel their success. As a singer motivational speaker and author, Carie looks for opportunities to share her passion and experience through comedy, tears and song.

As a Vocal Specialist Carie specializes in teaching her vocal students healthy singing as well as the different placements for various genres. She is known for being able to get the sound you want sound from a singer and intergrating both hemispheres of the brain with the body. Creating a more complete performer. She is also working toward getting her Vocology certification as well as her Resonant Vocal Therapy certification.

She enjoys performing her own original pieces and favorites from other artists from different genres. Carie is currently recording an original album which is reminiscent of warm chocolate and is scheduled for release at the end of the year, but her heart is currently on the Louisiana Recovery Album Project which is so dear to her heart. She is currently writing the music for the album for Louisiana Flood recovery victims and will include songs that are true to the heart and soul of her home state. Carie enjoys the prospect of using music to help heal hearts and homes. She and her family currently reside in Utah County.
